Maoist groups united for mission

Half a dozen Maoist parties including Unified CPN- Maoist have urged the government to assign the Commission of Truth and Reconciliation to finalize the incidents of conflict period, taking those incidents as political cases. The joint meeting of six Maoist parties held at UCPN- Maoist's headquarters in Koteshwor today expressed discontent saying incidents during the conflict period including high-handedness, attack and disappearance happened from the side of then rebels and the nation, were taken ahead under the supervision of the court. For this, they have decided to submit the communique to the Prime Minister.
Similarly, they have also decided to launch nation-wide protest programmes on April 6. The meeting had participation of Unified CPN- Maoist led by Prachanda, CPN Maoist led by Mohan Baidhya, CPN-Maoist led by Matrika Yadav and Revolutionary Communist Party of which Mani Thapa is the General Secretary among others.
