There is to let up to the losing streak of departmental side Nepal Police in the Red Bull National League Football. The team considered one of the title contenders suffered its third loss in today's match played at Dashrath Stadium giving way to the Armed Police Force at the scoreline of 2-nil. Both goals for APF came from Ranjan Bista. With the win, APF has now climbed to the 2nd spot in the standings with 7 points from 3 matches, just below Three Star on goal difference.

Meanwhile, Manang Marshyangdi has also collected 7 points after sharing a point with Tribhuwan Army today, but is slotted in the third place also on goal difference. The match between Manang and the army team also played at Dashrath Stadium ended in a 1-all draw. The lead taken early by the army men with a goal from Bharat Khawas was leveled nine minutes later by Anil Gurung for Manang. Army now ranks 5th in the league table with 6 points from 4 matches. Former league champions Nepal Police, for the first time, trails at the bottom of the league which is being played on a home-and-away basis and participated by 9 teams. The Police team has not been able to open its point account till date.
